Really I have no advanced formal training in art, painting is something  I just need to do to relax and in part express an emotional aspect. My professional qualifications lie in education and the field of social work and I am increasingly aware of the need that we have to see and nurture the positive aspects of life and living.

    I offer my paintings through solo exhibitions and commissions and those who enjoy their simplicity seem to draw from them a sense of peace.---- I feel happy about this!

However the main focus of my artwork is to integrate it with a social therapeutic programme where people can enjoy an ambience of peace, healing and positive social interaction. The paintings are sold from the Oasis Studio as part of the programme with other creative works in the form of Relaxation CD's and Reflective Poetry.Hopefully too the sales will help towards a more expansive development of The Oasis to allow for a  more practical programme.
